Beatrice is such a lover. Also rescued from a kill lot, she couldn't be more appreciative. She is quite the helper and just wants to be touching you if you are in reach. She came to us with the possibility of being pregnant, so we have been focused on giving her proper nutrition and the care that she needs and deserves. Turns out she was not pregnant. Beatrice is a bonded pair with Blanch.
Baby horse is a sweet girl who is ready to be trained. She is between four and 5. She is not a very tall girl but she is quick on her feet. She is great for the farrier, and loves to be groomed. She likes to know everything that is going on and will follow you around like a puppy. She came to the rescue unexpectedly with her mother and her name was never changed.
Dash isn't quite ready to go to her new home yet but she will be in no time. Her mom is Wynonna. She is part draft and full of sass! Dash is about 8 months old and we are working on halter training currently, which she is not a huge fan of. Dash and Wynonna were rescued from the kill lot and have a whole new outlook on life.
Blanch is a shy girl who is not quite sure what to think about people. We are guessing she is around 5-7. We have not been able to handle her as much as we would like but we are working on it. She would prefer just to be left alone. Blanch is a bonded pair with Beatrice. She will be ready to go to her new home soon.
Wynonna came to us from the kill lot. She is a retired bucking horse. Being part draft she is a big girl. She sure does love her food. We are currently working on getting a halter on her. With a little grain and tlc it shouldn’t take too long.
We believe Mr. Moo is around 2-3. He a great boy who is a steer. He is halter broke but loves to play and can be a little rough. His bestie is his goat buddy "Donkey" who he would love to get adopted with. Donkey is 2 year old Boer goat who is a wether. He came to us from 4H project. His owner couldn't stand the thought of him being sold for meat. He is also halter broke and has no idea what personal space is.
We rescued Hunter from the auction. He is about 2 years old and will be gelded shortly. He has already had ground work and we have been told he has been ridden. He is still a baby so will need a while before he can continue training under the saddle. He a rowdy boy but stands well for the farrier and loads.
This girl is in her 20's but don't let that fool you she still runs the show. While she will most likely not be able to be ridden due to her age and an old injury, she will make a great friend. She was rescued from a kill lot with her friend Leelo. In a perfect world we would love for them to find a home together.
Leelo is a kind soul. We believe she is a retired race horse. She does have a tattoo and is very fast. She came to us with Apple Jack from a kill lot. She had a bowed tendon when she arrived but after about 6 months of treatment she doesn't have a limp at all. She bonded quickly with Apple Jack and in a perfect work the two would get adopted together.
We currently have 5 retired runner ducks, 1 drake with 4 hens. They are easy keepers and would prefer to be watched and not handled.
Granny is an older girl but full of energy. She is good for the farrier and loves her cookies. Don’t let her fool you though, she can be a little spicy at times. She is broke to ride and would probably do fine on short trail rides here and there.
These two Pekin ducks are full of character. They love their pool and each other. They are easy as long as they have fresh water to play in and food.
Bob is an amazing boy standing at over 17 hands. He came to us with an upper respiratory infection and extremely emaciated. He has completely turned around and is quite the gentleman. He is gaited and prefers woman. He has some arthritis but would be okay with some easy trail rides as long as they aren't too steep.
This sweet bunny currently lives in the house but loves to be outside in the grass in the summer. She is litter box trained but does occasionally forget when she is out and about. She doesn't care to be picked up but loves to be part of the action. She loves her house and puts herself away when she is ready to go back in.
