Meet Fluttershy—our very first, official sanctuary rescue foal born on the farm. Born protecting her malnourished and scared mother. After realizing we were here to help her and her mother, she quickly became the heartwarming greeter of the herd. With a spirit as golden as her coat, she turns 4 this June. Her mother was among the first rescue horses we saved from a kill lot, and now, Fluttershy embodies the second chance we strive to give every horse. Fluttershy is also a permanent resident at the sanctuary who, with a little support and training, will have a bright future in law enforcement.
